We are looking for someone to provide process engineering support including process design, improvement, and troubleshooting. Champion process safety and management of change for US West Coast sites. Assist with environmental regulatory reporting and compliance. Manage site capital projects in collaboration with Plant Manager and Project Engineering to ensure proper process design and equipment specifications. Work with maintenance to optimize the preventive maintenance program. Location may be Fontana CA, Mojave CA or Spokane WA.

What you need:
  • Four year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing operation
  • US Certified Engineer
  • Minimum 8 years’ process engineering experience in Ferric and / or Aluminum Inorganic chemical manufacturing or related field.
  • Familiar with requirements of PSM, RMP standards
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office
  • Experience with business management systems, preferably SAP
  • Proven leadership skills in a fast paced, high stress environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with capital/project management
  • Experience dealing with Hazardous Materials
